awesome, its amazing how small they are!

What do you usually feed it? is that just shrimp meat or something?

I never usually feed it directly, but it takes everything I have ever thrown in my tank. I have never seen it do this, but they will also munch on micro brittle and asterina starfish. Which is fine because I have millions of both of those.

They are really small, about the size of a fingernail, but they have tons of personality. It is always motoring around the tank right in front of the glass. When it swims it is pretty funny looking. It is similar to when big fat bumblebees fly.

I have owned pom pom crabs, two varieties of pistol shrimp, boxing shrimp, cleaner shrimp, peppermint shrimp, porcelain crabs and a few others and the bumblebee is still my favorite. The others were all really cool, but they never came out in the open.

Thanks everyone,

It was actually kind of a difficult shot to get. I had to set up my camera on the tripod, find a good focus, then with the food in one hand and the camera trigger in the other I had to coax the bumblebee shrimp into the frame. Getting the bumblebee to eat was easy because those things are always hungry. However since my display is so deep I couldn't look through my camera and adjust the focus while reaching my arm to the bottom. Needless to say it took a few attempts.

Dude, that is super cool. Nice job capturing the photo for one thing. That thing is co cute and fat, plus it's totally chowing down on that meat! Nice one.
