two frags of an orange montipora digi frag obtained from lfs. as suggested by garf.org, i broke the fairly long frag into two pieces and mounted on small rubble to get encrusting base going. the frag had originally been resting on the sand bed so the bottom of the frag didn't have polyps. now there are polyps completely around the frags. the growth end has responded well to the mounting angle (sideways and downward). the base end is now completely encrusted after filling in some large unfilled areas. looking forward to having some new growth tips on both pieces.
