dahliaheartsyou Posted December 12, 2008 that maroon clown is way too big for that tank, not to mention it won't pair with the other species in there and most likely will bully it to death. Quote Link to comment
travisurfer Posted December 12, 2008 how are the too getting along? maroons and occellaris can be done but it is rare indeed. Quote Link to comment
champ23 Posted December 12, 2008 The maroon WILL get to big for the tank, correct. The other clown was only in the tank for a day, they're no longer together. As of now the maroon is still small, and will be moved to a bigger tank once I get my picasso clowns. But thanks for the input! Quote Link to comment
havoc519 Posted December 13, 2008 According to saltwaterfish.com A gold stripe maroon clown can be kept in a 10Gal tank. Quote Link to comment
champ23 Posted December 13, 2008 yeah, but they can also grow up to 5-6 inches in length, mine is probably pushing it for my tank, but the only other fish i have is a green clown goby at the moment, so i think it will be okay for awhile...but dahlia is right, it will need to be moved to a bigger tank. miniwhinny Posted December 14, 2008 I like your 'scaping a lot. So are you planning on this being home for some Picasso's? Cool. Quote Link to comment
