Kade's Reef Tank Posted December 12, 2008 It is sand from Florida's sea bed. I started my tank with 10 gallons of sea water and bought water from a pet store. The rocks you see in the "week one" photo were also found in the surf and kept with the water and sand until I got home. Quote Link to comment

Kade's Reef Tank Posted December 12, 2008 I upgraded to 150W MH 14,000K Sunpod. I love the way it looks but I would like more blue. What looks good to my eyes and what's good for the corals may be two different things. Quote Link to comment
warhol1 Posted December 12, 2008 I don't care if a person has a 1,000 gallon tank, a tang still will not be satisfied. No person can replicate the ocean, all we can do is give an attempte at doing so. A tank is simply a cage regardless of its size and although I enjoy reef keeping I still think what I do as a reefer is wrong. But... that is just the way of man. Quote Link to comment
