brian92 Posted June 23, 2008 /\ the circles are Coralline algae its good algae unless you don't like how it looks Quote Link to comment
StevieT Posted June 23, 2008 It is called Coralline algae and is from calcium and alk in the water. It is a sign of a more mature tank but should start to grow within two months of a tank setup. It grows faster on the smooth surfaces like glass and powerheads, but is all over my rock as well. Quote Link to comment

hollow Posted June 23, 2008 Sucks you lost your leather man! What do you plan on having as a new centerpiece? Whats that in the back right hand corner? Purple monti cap?: Quote Link to comment
StevieT Posted June 23, 2008 yeah, that thing didn't make it. I really have no idea, haven't had time to think much about it. Something wavy? something that pops, for sure. Ideas are welcome! The thing above the frog? Yep, monti cap from Awesome Aquatics aka mvite Quote Link to comment
captianshellnutt Posted June 23, 2008 I think a shark skull with a pirate hat should be the new centerpiece Quote Link to comment
StevieT Posted June 23, 2008 now your on to something! That would really finish off my tank, along with the 3 tangs I have planned and the shark that is soon to come Quote Link to comment
