Mine just magically popped out of my live rock one day.

Mine just grew out of the rear of my lobo. Now I cultivate it in a NC6 and have a piece (this one) in my main display.

Does that kind of algae wave in the current or is it rigid? Very nice splash of color!

Waves in the current. The algae is soft jello-like. It's hollow inside as well.

this is my Favorite, i have some of that in my tank but it isnt hallow yet its forming right now
