chuckfullservice Posted May 8, 2008 Also check your bulbs old ones can cause this too, along with phosphates . Do lot of water changes and try not to overfeed . I have also read in several posts about people turning off their lights for 2-3 days at a time. Good luck! Quote Link to comment
seahorsejl Posted May 8, 2008 Oops... my Photo Details did not come out quite clear. This is an old picture from back in January 2007. I was not running a skimmer and was using tap water (bad, bad .. I know). The tank is much healthier now, and not a spot of hair algae. I just submitted this picture because it is the only macro algae I have ever had in the tank Quote Link to comment
