Caulerpa?

Some macroalgae that's taken hold on my rock. I'm certain it's caulerpa, but I don't know the species and consequently, what actions I should take involving it.

the photo is a little washed out, but it doesn't look like caulerpa, anyway a herbivorous fish or emerald crab will tear right through it, if you looking to get rid of it.
