PVC Overflow AC50 Mod Full

Whats the point of this overflow? To hide the intake tube of the AC?

Prolly to add the benefits of surface skimming.

I have CPR bakpak and I bought this little overflow box they sell for it for $16. Best money I've ever spent. It's relatively small, (I thought they sent me the wrong one when I opened the box) it skims the top of the water, AND hides the pump and the power cord. It's also black and very low key.

hides the intake and also skims the surface to filter the build-up and scum that collects on the water. promotes better light penetration by keeping the surface clear.

i like this mod.

what media do you have in there? just mechanical - or did you add anything else?
