your going to need at least 60lbs of rock for it to look stocked and be able to support a reef, IMO.

Oh and more random flow. The pumps you have provide linear flow, Korlia's and Tunze's provide turbulent flow which is better for a tank.

there will probably be another cycle when you add the rest of your rock. even cured liverock has some dieoff in transport and there is a soft cycle. good luck with the tank

My filter broke :( so I gotta get my other one from my friend but I have filter floss too.

Thanks for the sarcasm.

I know about the cycle and I was told it wont be bad enough to kill anything, so I really hope thats the case.

It all depends on what rock you buy. I would have recommend waiting on the lifestock until you cycle, but since you skipped ahead, get a filter ASAP ! and your new rock will have to be fully curred if you want to save any of the inverts. Your BEST options is to take them back and do this correct.

What if I put the rock in my other tank for a while before I put it in this one?

This one is going to crash unless you get some sort of filtration in there. Yes you can cycle your rock like that. I would open up a thread if you have more questions. Use this site for the benifit of your tank.

your tank will cycle again, for sure. and you need to drop a few $ on a heater... Why even bother setting up a tank, you could have put that salt water in the bath tub for the same effect.
