Sand Dollar

Spends most of its time foraging in the sand bed. It's amazing to go check on him a few hours later and see he's moved. Doesn't even look alive.

How fascinating and different! You actually have a sand dollar in your tank? How does it fare?

it's only been a week but it's doing fine, takes it a couple of days to make it from one side of the tank to the other (5 foot tank). Yesterday was actually the first time I've seen it above the sandbed but I can usually tell where it is as its just under the top eating who knows what...

That's very interesting! I would imagine these guys require a big tank to survive. I love echinoderms!
