My new tank. Been out of the hobby for about 4 years, but I'm out of the military now and I'll be staying in one place long enough to get a tank set up... thank God. So, here it is... not much to look at... and I'm really not happy with that one flat piece in the right corner, but no where else to put it... so... Anyways, @ 5.5 lbs of LR and two large pieces of tufa... I like tufa since it's weighed dry and weighs next to nothing, but in colonizes very quickly and after a few months you can't even tell the difference.

No inverts yet other than what came with the rock... a few snails and a half dozen junk starfish. Fishless cycling by manually adding ammonia and so far it's going well. I prefer to cycle with uncured LR... but I'll take what I can get. Should be done with the cycle in about a week.

2 55W PCs. 1 combo, 1 actinic. Found the lights in storage and couldn't beat the price since they were free... looking for a combo to replace the actinic only. The pumps were also found in storage and, again... free... so can't beat that.

Overall cost of the tank... @ 10 dollars because I just recycled everything that I used to have. LR and LS were given to me for a huge discount... thank God for LFSs.
