Love the Pic colors are killer, I would have cropped it n some interesting way, but its very nice. How long have you had the star??

Thanks Hellfrich's chick! This star is actually in my hubbys tank. We've had it for about 3 years...the sponge is no longer around.

cool what do you feed it? What size tank? Just wondering as most people I talk to dont keep them for long. I have had mine for almost 5 years now. hum Maybe only 4 cant remember lol. But I feed mine every week-ish.

what do u feed yours helfrichs? i get mine to eat off and on, but am always looking for advice :-)

It doesn't eat anything special. He just feeds off the rocks. Oh, he did eat a clam once. He climed right in and devoured it. He's in a 90 gal.

Fraggle, I feed mine prime reef parts soaked in Vita Chem. I thaw it and then pull out the big chunks and squish them until their flat. When my star is at the surface on the glass I slip it in between his arms.

HAHA! only in an aquarium would you see a linkia star from the Sea of Cortez (Baja California) and a Caribbean sponge together. Cool! Great photo!

They have one of those stars at my LFS for 20 bones. I think it will be my next purchase. One of the blue and one of the red stars would really set my 30g off. Got to read up on them first of course :) Great pic BTW
