Unidentified Gorgonian

That looks like a menella sp. gorgonian. Nice find! It is non-photosynthetic and will require feeding.

I had one of those...even though I fed it, it slowly withered away. It looked good for about two months then started a slow decline. Beautiful though...take good care of it !

it's catches cyclopeeze when i use it but i guess i should increase feedings. the clams in my tank and chaeto will hopefully take care of the excess nitrates
