psidriven Posted March 7, 2007 Only problem I can see is getting the siphon started, as I'm assuming that is a return pump, not a intake pump. Quote Link to comment
avalanche1201 Posted March 7, 2007 yeah thats a return...Maybe I can get another mj 900 plumbed into the tubing and located outside the tank for an intake pump...and plumb it so I can throttle it down some if i need to...thanks for maken me realize that ps Quote Link to comment
eLL-dEE Posted March 8, 2007 wow, thats very similar to the fuge I just built w/ a 20 long. Which is just like the fuge I had on my 125g. before I sold it. Worked like a charm! Is that small chamber closest to your intake going to be for the heater? Quote Link to comment
avalanche1201 Posted March 8, 2007 neah that was going to be just for the intake and carbon, phosban etc...but now Im going to modify it. My intake tube is going to be plumbed into another MJ900 so there will be no intake chamber (most likely). If there is not one I will have the media bags w/ carbon phosban etc in the return chamber,,,the heater is going to go into chamber 2 w. the cheato etc...although I could placeit vertically into chamber one...not to sure yet...guess Ill have to decide last minute when Im avbout to build Quote Link to comment
psidriven Posted March 8, 2007 Haha, glad to be finally able to give back to n-r. did you use sketch up to draw the plans? Quote Link to comment
avalanche1201 Posted March 9, 2007 sure did, i got the full version for free w/ the labtops my school gives out...great program, easy to use to...now the only question is...do I get rid of the first chamber or not, I think I might keep it for media bags and have the intake pump directed right at them Quote Link to comment
