Crazy Rics.

Anyone else have their rics do this? They do this about 2 hours a day. I feed them but they still do it. Weird IMO.

It actually reminds me of when a coral reaches for light. What time of day do they do this? Definitely a cool pic to have them all like that.

OHHH just wait till Sunday. I am getting some nice ones. I dont think its the light issue at all. I added a 70w halide on there and they started doing it. I atucally think they may be getting too much light. Very weird. They do it about 5 hours after lights on. They are growing and doing really well, that green on in the front has 5 mouths! I love rics, I was going to dedicate the tank to rics only but had to have some zoas.

I have one of my rics that gets loose and goes under an overhang, and then it will do the cupping effect. If its out in the light, it never does that, so I always figured it was a "I need more light" response. But, if you've got that much light, guess it's something different for you. It might be the beginning of the ric retracting because of too much light, but before it fully shrinks and encloses your MH goes off? Well, if they're growin who cares right?

Not more light, I took one that cups the most and moved him into a darker area. We will see what happens tomorrow, but it seems to have stopped. Super weird.
