Come down lol. There are ways to keep one in a smaller tank, just takes some effort and money but it can be done.

They eat more then I do. They are very healthy.

I drop a bottle of tigger pods in my fuge twice a month. Plus the brine, mysis, blood worms and pods I think they are happy.

Thanks for the great comments. I will try to get some pictures of the two female mandarins I have in there. They are has fat.

travisurfer Thanks dude!

lord_seena Thanks!

echo-bravo 4-19 Thanks, The male does not seem to be as shy as the females. You do have to sneaky about it. I took this picture during feeding time.

tom_friend Thanks, Get them when they are small. So it will be easier to have them eat different foods. You will just start by adding baby brine, brine, blood worms copepods. Its does help to have a fuge.

i have a male in my 24g AP and he's been fat and happy for 3 months. mine isn't exactly shy, but he spends time everywhere; constantly weaving in and out of the lr caves. i think it's great how they hover around like a helicopter and mine never really moves fast. he just takes his time wherever he goes. sorry, didn't mean to hijack your post... just got carried away. Good Luck!
