Lobophora sp

This is a type of coral?! I've had some recent growth in my tank and assumed it was some sort of algae.

If you read the description under the picture you can see it says plate like coral .

I have some of this stuff in the refugium. It doesn't really look pretty but hey, I'm supposing it's taking some nitrates away.

Actually Demented, if you read it correctly...it says Plate-like algae.
