well even in the day time in our "Winter" its still warm, they will have a heated blanket for cold mornings. They are always inside as soon as I get home from work, so nights are not a problem at all, can't leave them out at night anyways, LOTS of rattlers and LOTS of coyotes. They howl right buy our bedroom windows at night. Kinda creepy. Gotta love the desert
