Crab ID Please

I found this molt (I assume it wasn't a dead crab as it didn't look like there was anything in it when I pulled it out and it disintegrated) in my 12 gallon JBJ. I haven't added anything like this. Can you tell me what it is? Ignore the duckweed as this was the closest container on hand in my fish room :)
