So I turn off the power head for a couple minutes to do some maintenance and bam he ran in here... and now I can't get him to come out!

At first I was going to say turn the pump on and watch him zoom across the tank. Then I realized you have a power sweep and the gears might pinch his tail. The deflectors in those should come out pretty easy. Might make it easier to get him out. Will he leave for food?
