andre Posted June 13, 2006 Aptasia. Yup it is bad. Kill with Joe's Juice or get a Peppermint shrimp to eat it. Don't crush it because it will spread into many more. Quote Link to comment
BustytheSnowMaam Posted June 13, 2006 When I first set up my tank, I took everyone's great advice and shot the one aiptasia I had up with kalk, and it quickly multiplied into about 50. I got 2 pep shrimps and they took care of them. Now 4 years later I have one aiptasia, and I just leave it alone. It has been there for over a year, it's not harming anything, it's not getting bigger, and it's not multiplying. From what I've read, if you don't have a lot of nutrients in the tank, they won't multiply. If they do, pep shrimps work great. Just make sure you get true pep shrimps. Tasha Quote Link to comment
