in my 12 gal NC DX. This clam was given to me about 6 months ago by a friend who got it as a 2" hitchiker on a piece of live rock about 2 years ago. Now almost 4 inches and showing obvious growth.

Are you using the stock lighting? I've read that the Squamosa clams don't require the MH's like other clams. What are you going to do when it gets full grown? At 16", I can't imagine it would be easy to position it anywhere in a NC.

thanks for the compliments. yes, clams are the coolest. All hardware in this tank is stock. Lower light requirements are the reason I chose the squamosa. They don't get 16 inches overnight so it will give me a reason to get a bigger tank someday.
