Started with 2 cups water, 1/4 teaspoon of the cube bakers yeast, with 4 lq oz of karo syrup. I have NO idea if this mixture will work, but I guessed on the syrup.. hah!

are you going to make a reactor for that? You don't want the CO2 bubbles to just float up to the surface. Oh and be sure to get or mix your own liquid fertilizer if you have anubias (or similar) plants in your tank. They don't seem to fair well with just eco-complete alone. =) gregwatson.com good stuff =) nice to see another fw plant hobbyist.

oh forgot to mention. doesn't matter how much water or yeast you put in... more about the sugar. The amount of sugar determines how fast the yeast will start munchin. I don't know if karo syrup works. You might wanna use a needle valve to control the amount of CO2 entering the tank if it bubbles too much. You don't want the pH to drop to low 6.0s overnight ;-)

get a 1 way valve for that in case you get a leak in your bottle... or it will start a syphon

dude. at least a bell type reactor man your just wasting co2. i'd put a gang more water in that concuction to man. because the yeast will die when the water gets to acidic but the more water you have the more diluted the acids will be. and once its done producing lol drink up a little piece of alchy heaven lol!!
