Fant Posted June 17, 2004 i think its an eunice worm.. it looks cool and acts cool except for his tendancy to eat all my zoanthids and attempts to drag corals down into the sand. Quote Link to comment
cowboy Posted June 17, 2004 Hey, I have one of those. It is in a hole in a piece of live rock and I have never seen it leave. It likes to play "peek-a-boo" with me. I have never seen it do anything but come part of the way out of the rock and look around and then it slips back in. Quote Link to comment
Fant Posted June 17, 2004 came in with some rock.. not sure if it was my pacific rock or my gulf rock. This particular one is rather large.. iv never seen the entire body in one shot but an estimate at total length is between 2-3'.. the body itself is about 1/2" in diamter.. if the spikes along his side are extended its like 1.5" tip to tip. its somewhat of a nuisance.. like i said it drags corals around and eats zoanthids, leathers, couple other things over the years.
