Halvamir Posted April 10, 2006 are you not worried about all that culperda going sexual? that would prolly crash the tank Quote Link to comment
aquaman7 Posted April 10, 2006 ^He's got an ok sized tank, it usually is not a big deal, if you do a pretty good water change after the caulerpa leaks it's insides, and run extra carbon it clears up within the day. It can be disastrous in a smaller tank though. Quote Link to comment
anemonehost Posted April 10, 2006 I have never had a problem with that, but then I have been doing this for 20 years. <a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2012938343">THE VIDEO-->My Reef aquarium</a><a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.addToProfileConfirm&videoid=2012938343&title=My Reef aquarium"></a> | <a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.home"> </a> Quote Link to comment
Halvamir Posted April 10, 2006 Im a newb my self. It did happen to me once though. Killed my Condi Anemonie in a 30gal. Who knows though if it was even the same species. Plus my Condi hadnt been looking to hot B4 the jizzim in the water problem so it might have just been coincidence. If i were you though I'd atleast keep 5 or 10 gallons on hand in case you wake up one morning to a bunch of milky water. Good luck with it, it does look pretty. Quote Link to comment
anemonehost Posted April 10, 2006 I have 5 water containers that hold 5 gallons each, I store them for my WEEKLY changes, when I do an H2o change I always trim the plants before the change. Remember to heat your water to the same temp. <a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2012938343">THE VIDEO-->My Reef aquarium</a><a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.addToProfileConfirm&videoid=2012938343&title=My Reef aquarium"></a> | <a href="http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.home"> </a> Quote Link to comment
rumrunner1 Posted April 15, 2006 I have had my 24 gal nano only 3 months and experienced the thrill of a milky white tank. I caught it early enough though and did a half water change and added prime.(also added an airstone to the back and all seems fine 2 wks later). I love the look of green plants but just the reef is fine by me...... Quote Link to comment
sierrafoxtrot1 Posted June 26, 2006 this is by far the best/coolest looking tank I have ever seen,really! Quote Link to comment
