How do you keep your sand so clean??

I thought my sand was pretty dirty... but I really don't do anything to it. I have about 5 Nassarius snails that help to mix it up and I always see the hermet crabs doing some cleaning. I used to be super anal about keeping my sand extremely clean but now I think the best thing to do is be patient and over time it will look nice. If there is one thing I learned in this hobby it is patience. Patience is the best thing you can have.
