Wow! You're aquascaping is great! It's kind of like what I want to do with my nano. How many pounds of LR is that? What kind of corals did you use? Anyways, you're tank looks beautiful! :)

Thanks, I've been real happy with the results so far.

There is about 35-40 lbs of live rock in the tank. I had a nano-cube that I took down and added the rock to the Via Aqua. I like the layered look of the rock but I do think there is a little too much live rock now. Not as much room on the sand bed as I would like, and of course it cuts down on the water volume. The tank is doing great and there are lots of caves and ledges for corals.

The nano cube was the JBJ 12. I added a 32W PC smartlite retrofit to the lid. After moving both tanks the cube took a back seat for a while. Now the cube is being reset using some nive very well cured tonga branches for a very different look. That tank is cycling now.

Oh, :( I was going to ask for it because I want to add more light to my nano cube, but I don't know how to do it. :*(

Is your rock positioned in the center of your tank or is it leaned up against the back of the glass like that?

Its a spectacular loook no matter what you did, I ask because I am in the stages of planning out my aquascaping as well and I want the same effect though im trying to stay away from piling it up against the aquarium wall.

The rock does lean against the back glass in just a few places. I tried to keep the rock away from the sides so that I can clean the glass and the tank can be viewed from 3 sides. There is a mini jet powerhead in the lower left corner aimed behind the rocks to keep water circulating and minimize build up detritus. Seems to be working well and there is now a ton of coraline covering the back glass. Bottom line - be sure to keep the rock away from glass that you intend to keep clear for viewing, much easier to clean that way.
