New & Improved Canopy

Did you have that custom made? Looks very interesting! Is it collecting a lot of splash? Will that be a cleaning chore?

thanks! i made the various canopy versions myself. i ordered some acrylic sheet from usplastic.com and cut and heat bent them to shape. now i have a plastic company (different process) so i have access to those equipment so it wouldn't be as simple as i just described to the average person.

it's basically collecting all the splash, as it was intended to do. the splash self-wipes the canopy clean as it drips back onto the tank frame and then into the tank itself (very little maintenance in previous versions, i'm hoping zilch in the present version ). this format: eliminates , allows sunlight thru the top, viewable from the top, limits evaporation tremendously, and adds protection to the tank (kids in the house!).
