st4tic Posted March 16, 2006 looks photoshopped to me, since there is a living moorish idol Quote Link to comment
MadTownMax Posted March 16, 2006 hmmm, how long before they all die - that's an expensive waste of beautyful fish. You can see from the rock that the system hasn't even cycled yet and that's not a moorish idol .... Quote Link to comment
garrettm Posted March 16, 2006 Thinking about all of those fish swimming around in that small space... I am getting dizzy just looking at the still picture. Quote Link to comment
scarf_ace1981 Posted March 16, 2006 y do you guys think the fish will die? he probably has a great skimmer. tank not cycled? by looking @ the rock? you guys crack me up Quote Link to comment
kyle102565 Posted March 16, 2006 38 fish i count in the shot, way overstocked. my LFS has a 950 gallon show tank with maybe 20 fish in it. Quote Link to comment
aquaman7 Posted March 16, 2006 Looks nice, way overstocked, but nice... We need to hear some skimmer specs. Quote Link to comment
Formerly MikeR. Posted March 16, 2006 I think you may need to put a few more fish in that tank..... Quote Link to comment
FLIPbmw Posted March 17, 2006 You guys come up with funny comments. It's a 240g tank with what looks like ~40 fish. Why would they all die? Because they are in a 240g tank? What about filtration? What if the guy has a super $$ setup behind the 'display' that can handle a bioload twice that much. What if he has a 500g sump? What's the difference between 40 fish in 750g of water vs 40 fish in 750g of water with limited space. If anything and if this guy does keep this tank up to par, it's better than what most of the people with large tanks have. Quote Link to comment
dreadfish Posted February 19, 2007 surely if the tank wasnt cycled and its so over stocked, he must ahve bought all those fish at once, which means the increase of ammonia would have killed 99% of them ESPECIALLY those angels which if you look Actually look real healthy, some of the peoiple on this forum are real stuck up goons "look at the rock it cant be cycled" what are you LIKE lol , btw stunning tank seafood Quote Link to comment
xmen0075 Posted February 19, 2007 How do all the Angelfish get along without fighting??? They usually don't do well with other mature species... Quote Link to comment
willthefish Posted February 23, 2007 A big sump won't stop overcrowding. An awesome selection of fish but perhaps not in the best environment.... Quote Link to comment
Brizjuan Posted February 24, 2007 ya somethings up here... if thats really this guys tank... im speechless...240 gallons or not... look at the size of those fish... were not talking juveniles here....those of u sticking up for this setup clearly have no idea what your talking about... pick up a book or something.. were not pulling this out of are butt's here. ricomike Posted February 24, 2007 that's not a moorish idol that's a black and white heniochus Quote Link to comment
LucasP604 Posted February 26, 2007 I feel sorry for those fish bro.... maybe you could respond a little here to your own post and defend yourself and what looks to be a total dissregard of marine life! Quote Link to comment
PrettyEyesSCT Posted February 26, 2007 Its obviously photoshopped and he just posted it here to feed the trolls. Some of your comments are pretty amusing though. Quote Link to comment
quy_nquyen Posted February 27, 2007 a bit overstocked for my liking. If that's what floats his boat then that's fine. When the rest of you guys get your own 240gallon you can do what ever YOU WANT TO DO WITH IT... Quote Link to comment
brandon7491 Posted July 11, 2007 dang bro....... way way to manny fish imo and ur bioload must be ginourmous. take some back and make it a reef Quote Link to comment
