Thanks ecotoxlady! I am trying to pick from about three shots of my crab right now that I want to enter (wish I could pick more than one!). This one is interesting but it might not stand out in the crowd. I have another one - a close up of its eyes that has more colour in it and might prove more interesting - or vote getting .

Thoughts?

that's one thing that I have noticed, all the winning pics are very colorful so I would definately go with the one that has the most color

the 2nd pic =] they're both nice. but eh the first pictures no really a award winning type. though it is intresting.

Wow, those are some simply incredible macro's. What camera/lens are you using for that?

spyrule, I use a Canon A60 2Mp point and shoot. It is a nice camera with a lot of SLR features. An oldie but a goodie!
