Is there space between corals and side glass - for a glass cleaning, what are you using for it? Permanent problem for me - or half-empty tank, or no space for a glass cleaning. fishbabies Posted September 7, 2006 i usually don't need color correction....i think the coralline is picking up the actinic blue lamp. i didn't ever clean the back wall...but the sides were kept clean with the mag float almost every day. now i only have 2 1.7 gallon picos which are only 6" deep (water) excluding sand bed. They don't get algea but sometimes phytoplankton dust that can be cleaned with a toothbrush. i used the smallest penguin filter for filtration back then with filter pad removed during feeding.
