But actually never had any algae whatsoever in that tank at all....As you can see from the other picture in the gallery ...Sunlight is not a cause for algae , nutrients in the water are...3 gallon water changes a week and a the deep sand bed... .These photo's were taken after the tank was already up and running for 6 months....aslo with the door closed and the shades drawn there is very little light in the room...
