reefpeace Posted January 25, 2006 Thanks Ice! Yes, they are all over my tank and developed on the rock in different areas after a few weeks. Being new to this, I kind of assumed that they were fairly common...are they? Quote Link to comment
tinyreef Posted January 25, 2006 that's a great shot! can you pull back to show us some size relation? Quote Link to comment
reefpeace Posted January 25, 2006 Well, the white piece in the center right of the photo is a piece of aragonite substrate. The squirts are about 1/4" long by 1/8" diameter I would say. I should correct myself on the claim that they are all over my tank. They are mainly on various sides of one specific rock. They are formed in colonies. On the 'dark side' of the same rock (the back leaning against another rock) the entire surface is covered (perhaps 3" x 6" area)! Quote Link to comment
Falco Posted February 9, 2006 Way cool! I only have like 4 in my 30gal tank. They are bright red, though. Quote Link to comment
