Thanks Ice! Yes, they are all over my tank and developed on the rock in different areas after a few weeks. Being new to this, I kind of assumed that they were fairly common...are they?

Well, the white piece in the center right of the photo is a piece of aragonite substrate. The squirts are about 1/4" long by 1/8" diameter I would say. I should correct myself on the claim that they are all over my tank. They are mainly on various sides of one specific rock. They are formed in colonies. On the 'dark side' of the same rock (the back leaning against another rock) the entire surface is covered (perhaps 3" x 6" area)!
