Need help identifying this algae

THe photo sucks...a camera phone pic. Anyway hopefully with my description someone could help me identify this algae. It is a burgundy color I guess, really dense and wirelike and growing at a pretty fast clip. Its growth spreads out but it stays close to the rock. It's great looking except i'm concerned about it spreading too much. Any ideas on what type this is?

Really hard to tell from the picture but the description sounds like dragons breath.

I had exactly the same thing in my tank and could not find out what it was. it grew at an alarming rate.

Based on the pic and the description my best guess would be Laurencia obtusa or some type of Gracilaria.
