I have already moved the tank around since this picture will try another photo soon!

coraline on back wall is getting eaten by two of the same species hermit crabs they may go back to LFS soon but the coraline is growing like crazy and it keeps the hermits busy I guess!

brown polyps in first photo are now in back by top they have lost color not sure why? one of the reasons I have moved tank around again everything else is growing well so not sure why polyps are losing color they are still mulitplying? must just be being tempermental!

well what do you think? is it too crowded? almost a year now born 1-25-05!

I think it looks great! Rearrangement or fragging does sound like a good idea as some of the corals look a little crowded. Don't worry about the hermits eating the coraline. As far as I know by eating it they are merely helping to spread it elsewhere in the tank. As far as the color loss there are only two things I can think that would cause that. Either your bulbs are too old and need to be replaced or you need to do more frequent water changes as sometimes the colors fade in zoanthids if the water parameters are poor. Anyway, looks great and congrats on having a mature reef tank! Keep up the good work!

ha the colt corals somehow were eaten by bumble bee snails only from the base of coral when the coral was first purchased and then split into three seperate corals I think with a sharp blade you could do the same? after they split I set them in base of two big shells one worked other kept getting knocked over so the other two frags ended up in holes in rocks and are now attachted
