adinsxq
update: colors shifting a little; the red one's gotten lighter and the maroon one's gotten darker. eating like mad. no babies though. i'm dying to slice one in half though to see if that would work. click for full size Link to comment

jeremai
Holy cow they look great. Think you could get any more? I'm not even sure how they reproduce - by splitting or by spitting, your guess is as good as mine. Link to comment
adinsxq
update pics (sorry they're crappy!) i know they don't look so hot color-wise, but they're more than twice as big as when i first got them. tentacle extension is wild. i'm still looking for a more confident ID. there's an old picture EXACTLY like the maroon one in the WWM archives... but that NOOB answering the questions called it a mojano. the search continues... in the meantime, they are, and have been living in my prop-tank sump. sump is un-heated... actually i don't know if i should really call it a sump. the two tanks are just connected by a 1" u-tube. water is just allowed to flow passively between the tanks. "sump" stays around 65 - 68. main tank is heated at 76 they're fed either frozen mysis or 1/3 silverside every day. they're very good about holding food down. whereas the waratah spit up their meal after a few hours, these guys go until their poop is unrecognizable. yes, i inspect their poops. the lighter colored one never quite closes its oral disc all the way. i suck at anemones Link to comment
formerly icyuodd/icyoud2
have you ever seen it do this? http://www.ianskipworth.com/photo/d70uw/d7.../DSC_0018-1.jpg Link to comment

jeremai
icy, what the heck was that? My Urticinas have pretty rough vescicles, but that's crazy. I know one of Steve Weast's Aussie anemones does that, too - looks like a big grey blob. Crazy. adin, one of mine doesn't shut it's mouth all the way, either - the same one that can't figure out how to eat, and gets all puffy. I think it's just challenged. Link to comment
