Hurricane
Well I picked up my second coral for my tank, a really nice, branchy rock with five green hairy shrooms on it. This rock has been in my LFS for seveal month and as you may have guess it has some hitchikers. First are about six of these slugs (?). I have only noticed them on the glass and they have a nice orange and red color. As far as I can tell they have no shells and even when the lights are out they are on the glass. Any ideas? The biggest on is about three millimeters long, but they do move fast. What slugs/nudibranchs are not reef safe? I have a pulsating xenia and the shrooms. I am almost at the four month mark with this nano. Thanks Harry Link to comment
Hurricane
here is a different view of it on the glass. Never new my macro setting on my digital camera could get this close. Link to comment
sjpresley
Those look like they may be the dreaded Planarians. There was a recent post on treatment (if they reproduce and get really ugly)...I think it was called Flatworm Exit. However, seems like most of the time the worms bother the aquarist more than the corals. Link to comment
