help me pick the right T5 bulb.

i have some t5 fixtures and they came with 24w 3000k fixtures. so i want to put the 10000k fixtures, do antics actually do anything?, maybe one of each? ne ways i see that on drs site, the bulbs are 24w, 24in. i measured and the bulbs that came with it from pin to pin are 22 and a 1/4. will these fit, maybe they measure using a different method?
