New 3g Picotope

I have had a 12 gallon Aquapod for 15+ months and I am considering getting a pico now. Guess we are working backwards :)jk

 

How come you decided to turn down the pico? Too hard to maintain? Or just wanted bigger and only one tank?

 

I wanted something a little bigger at work. Everybody comes by and looks at the tank and asks "where are the fish?"

 

As far as maintainence went, I had the tank more or less automated. I had a top-off and everything ran on timers. Every week swap out 1/2 gallon of water and that is it.

 

This tank will live on though. I sold it to another NR member that is local and he has started up another thread for it.
