rza007
I have a 20g and the temp durring the day stays around 80-81, now, when I wake up in the morning and check it out it around 76-78degrees. Is thi drop and rise of temp okay for the tank? As of now, I just have 45lbs of LR in the tank... Will it effect any growth of critters? Thanks in advance. Link to comment
Strife
why not bring the temp down to 78 so it will be stable day and night Link to comment
Strife
ebo jager heaters will be the way to go...so i hope you have one of those Link to comment
Christopher Marks
The drop is just slightly too much to not be stressful. It sounds to me like you need a heater for the night time hours. Try a 100w Ebo Jager, that will be accurate enough to work in the night. Link to comment
suebedube
I agree. Sounds like your heater can't keep up. Rule of thumb (I've read) is 5 watts per gallon for your heater. Link to comment
HuBu
i had the same problem awhile ago with my 10gal. but i got a heater so the temp doesnt flux that much now. i need to get a fan for the daytime tho. Link to comment
