Tom Aquatics Rapids Nano Canister Filter

Anyone have any thoughts on or experience with this:

I'm thinking as a replace for the small Marineland/Aquaclear hang on filters many of us use.

Brand spanking new - I saw it in the Marine Depot catalog they sent me a few weeks back, and it was just added to the catalog last week or so.

 

TOM Aquatics has fairly good stuff; they've mostly made freshwater equipment in the past.

 

As for this canister filter: I think for a lot of people with a 5.5 or 10 gallon tank, filling it up with rubble and Purigen and using it for flow is a great way to free up space in a small tank.

i know this is a pretty old post but has anyone tried this canister filter yet?
