iluvfishies01 Posted June 16, 2006 Share Posted June 16, 2006 I just got a 12G NC DX from a fellow reefer and I haven't had any experience w/ these. How do the fans turn on? Are they connected to the same ballast as the light? I turn on the lights and the fans don't come on. Link to comment

Nickeleye Posted June 20, 2006 Share Posted June 20, 2006 Sounds like there might be something funny going on inside your ballast box enclosure. Your ballast may be on the fritz not to mention the circuitboard in the hood that your fans are connected to may also be going bad. Do your moonlights work? Seems strange that BOTH fans are toasted.
