Alexraptor
Well, i have a rock with zoas at the rear of my tank, and i know they dont get the most light there(the only place the rock will fit) so i thought they migh be unhappy because of that. however, just below the main colony. is a new small colony of a differnt color variety of zoas growing just fine. how sensetive are zoo's to direct constant flow? because the blast from my powerhead goes right about their heads. would this make them unhappy? Jon in SW Ohio
I usually have the opposite problem, and my zoas aren't happy and won't open unless they have some good current blowing on them. Link to comment

Tunze has released fairly recently i think a new series of special reef powerheads, claiming that studies show that regular powerheads create an uneven flow on the jets(slow moving outer stream and fast moving core).
