thepro
So my 38 gallon is cycled, I have 1 clownfish in there, 15 blue leg hermits, 5 snails, 1 emerald crab. The rest of the stats are in my sig. I bought the tank from a guy that had it set up already for a while so there is some hair algea that my crabs are cleaning. What should I do now? Wait for all the algea to get cleaned? add a turbo snail to help? add corals? add fish? what do you think? Link to comment
nanoist
I think you should read all you can, and be patient with whatever you do. Link to comment
reefinnewb
How long has it been cycled for? You said the heater "if needed" you need it. Put it in, set the temp to 78 or so and let it be it will cycle on or off. You are gonna need more snails. Some astrea and nassarius snails. Then wait a little longer. Then if everything is still stable, add another fish or start adding your coral, only add simple stuff first and do it slow. Nothing good happens fast in this hobby, your dealing with living organisms and a lot of money, dont throw it all away. As nanoist said, read everything you can get your hands on it will make this go a lot easier for you. Link to comment
