georgie
I have a 130L (~33G) tank and started cycling about 18 days ago - 16 days ago I added LR and today my readings were pH - 8.0 Amm - 0 Nitrites - 0 Nitrates - 40 Does this mean I have finished cycling? Wil the nitrates come down by themselves or will this only happen with partial water changes? I think I got a diatom bloom about 4 days ago and it is really ugly and am keen to get a clean up crew in there if it is safe to start adding to it. Thanks for your help Link to comment
Ecko
Looks like you need to add your clean up crew... Time wise is questionable...most would recommend waiting a lil longer.... Did you notice a spike in the Ammonia & Nitrites yet before they were 0? Did you use cured LR, LS, Tap Water w/ solution or RO Mixed, etc? Do a water change & check nitrates <20...some would say even less....before you add C-U Crew Link to comment
Mr.anemone
i think your nitrite level is high ! i think you should change you water before youn start adding the cleanup crew.... i think your nitrite level is high ! i think you should change you water before youn start adding the cleanup crew.... kyle102565
if you had an ammonia spike and a nitrite spike, youve cycled. do a 20% water change and add clean-up crew stat! Link to comment
