Heliofungia/Plate Coral in Nanos?

Anyone have any experience with heliofungia/plate corals?  For instance, how far away from other corals should they be kept to give their sweeper tenticles room?  How hardy are they in general?  Do they pose any threat to livestock?  Also, have people placed them on both the rocks and sand, or do they prefer one over another.  Thanks.

Plate corals should be placed on the sand.  They don't have sweeper tentacles, but the long tentacle plates can expand considerably beyond the size of their skeleton, and you'll want at least an inch or two of space all the way around what they'll occupy when they're fully expanded.  So if you have a decent sand area, they're a cool coral.  If you have clowns they'll probably love it as well.
