HuBu Posted May 20, 2002 Share Posted May 20, 2002 i found this set of MH light on elights.com. Its a GE Charger 400W pendant. it says that this light can used for plant growth. so i m guessin it can be used to light a tank then. do you guys think i can use this over a tank? Link to comment

gabe3eb Posted May 20, 2002 Share Posted May 20, 2002 there is a big difference between a "growlight" and a light suitable for a reef. If the Kelvin rating isn't shown on a websight, assume that it is well below 55K, therefore not suitable for an aquarium. gaber Link to comment
