If you can rearrange your ballasts to fit one more, you could possibly have 3 lights under that hood. not sure about 4 tho. But measure the width of your ballast light sockets and see how many you can fit side by side in the hood. Then you can use Natureboys techniques for making the 12G mods. Link to comment
spark
Hey Brandon, I pulled both ballasts out of my 12g Pod and put in a 2X32 Current USA retrofit. If you pull the ballasts and go external, there is enough room to fit 4X32. I recommend getting the ballasts out of the lid. Your temps will drop 2 degrees. Expecially if you are adding on more lights. I bought a 2X24 JBJ external ballast and quick disconnects. Now I have 2-27 Watt ballast also. More ballasts than I know what to do with! If you add more lights, you will need to add a fan and pop out the plastic in between the grills above the fans and above the lights. That will get you a very good air flow and temps will not be an issue. You may have already done that. Good Luck, Mark Link to comment
