reefphreak
Ok. When I was putting my live rock in my tank I noticed a little purple colored shrimp in the bottom of the bucket so I checked him out and he probly wasn't a mantis because he wasn't all that ugly. But I did notice that he had one claw that looked very different and longer than the other one. So I then decided not to flush him and put him in with the rock. Now this morning I'm getting a hell of a snapping sound coming from the tank. Could this maybe be a pistol shrimp? Link to comment

sjpresley
Should be, make sure you make an effort to get some food to him at night. Without goby partners they are usually very reclusive. Good luck. Link to comment
